Privacy Policy

The short version

Spec'd does not sell your data, does not require an account, and collects no personal information from visitors beyond the standard, anonymous server logs every website keeps. There is no signup and no newsletter.

When you click a product link and make a purchase, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookie to attribute the sale. That activity is governed by that retailer's privacy policy, not ours; we receive only anonymous, aggregated commission reporting, never your identity or order details.

The Spec'd HQ application and platform APIs

The operator's private dashboard connects to the operator's own social accounts through official APIs (such as TikTok's Login Kit with the user.info.basic and video.list scopes, and the Pinterest API). It reads only the operator's own profile and the operator's own posts' performance numbers (views, likes, comments, shares, saves) to display them in that private dashboard. It requests no other data, reads no other users, and shares nothing with third parties. Access tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time from the platform's own app-management settings. We retain only the operator's own aggregate metrics.
